    Mary Ann

    1862 to 1894

Mary Ann was a twin born in 1862 with her sister Laura Elizabeth.

Later census record her as an imbecile from childhood and her death, in an Asylum in Caterham, Surrey, confirms she probably had no independent life.

Still living with her father in 1881 at the age of 19, her mother had died the year before and her twin sister Laura was married already.  Her father died the year after, probably condemning her to the asylum.

She died at the age of 32.
