David Robert 

1959 to 2020 

David Robert was born on December 14th 1959 the only son and youngest child of David Albert and Leopauldine (Pauline) (DeMeerLeer).  His family lived in Michigan, USA and David Robert spent his life around Wayne County.

His young life was stuck by family tragedy; his mother died when he was still young in 1970, and his sister June was tragically drowned at the age of 19 in Lake Michigan in 1973, when David was just 13.

David attended High School in Warren, Michigan, and then married on December 3rd 1983. His two children were born in the late 1980s.

 

He worked for General Motors, and was particularly proud to have been responsible for much of the interior design of the Corvette Stingray, an iconic model.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Outside of work, he loved to hunt and fish. David and his wife built their retirement home in Caseville, Huron County, where David spent all of his summers growing up

 

After bearing ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis ) illness in his later life, he died on the 6th March 2020
