MITCHENALL FAMILY HISTORY

David Albert was the only son of Albert and Rose, born in Detroit in 1917.

​

He married Leopauldine Pauline DeMeerleer in June 1943, and together they had 5 children. She died in 1970.

​

He later married Norma Jean Butterfield and has s stepson. His stepson survives him.

​

Of his five children Sharon Ann died in 2016, and daughter June had a tragic fatal accident at the age of 19, when a wave on Lake Superior washed and her student friends into the water. Her body was never found.

 

His only son David Robert sadly died in 2020 after a debilitatiing illness. David Roberts children still carry the name of Mitchenall, with three grandchildren,
