1901 to 1971
Frederick James was the youngest of David and Laura Mitchenall's six children. Born in Streatham, at the age of 21 he had moved to Amesbury in Wiltshire where he married Beatrice Spreadbury in 1921
The family then seems to have stayed in the area, and today, in 2020, there remains a cluster of the Mitchenall family in the Wiltshire area, largely his descendants.
Frederick and Beatrice had three sons, Frederick Leopold (1922 - 1986), Douglas James (1924 - 2002) and Andrew David (1930 - 2001) and a daughter born in 1940.
He remained in Durrington, Wiltshire, until his demise in July 1972. Beatrice survived him by 11 years.
