MITCHENALL FAMILY HISTORY

Winfred was the youngest of Frederick and Emily Mitchenalls daughters.

Born in Farnham, Surrey in 1900, she died at the age of 98 in Truro, Nova Scotia Canada.

​

At the age of 19, on Jan 22nd 1920, and just 4 years after the death of her father, Winifred stated on her documents of passage that she was coming to Canada to join her brother (in law) and mother. She gave her brother in law as William Melvin, not Edward. She travelled on the Carmenia with her sister IVY.

She stated her nearest relative in the UK was Joy(or Joyce) Mitchenall of 216 Risboro Lane Cheriton (Folkestone). I do not know who this is.

As far as I can tell, Winifred never married and died in Truro Nova Scotia more than 25 years after her mother and sisters with whom she emigrated.
